Widearched 99 mx5

Post by Mx5ideways on Mon Jan 07, 2013 6:44 am

This came up for good money when my other mx5 was off the road, it's not cheap anymore with the amount of money its after costing me though lol, bought it around August 2011, it's one of the highest bhp na mx5s you could buy from the factory (160bhp), very powerful and comfortable too, there was around 77,000 km on it and it's got the usual rs extras (bilstein suspension, torsion LSD, 6sd gearbox, lighter flywheel, extra bracing, bose sound system, etc) mods since I bought it are a new roof, full arc induction kit and fully adjustable XYZ drift spec Coilovers. Pics of when I first got it;

I gave the car to a friend of mine in limerick a few months ago to do few things to it (fit new wheels, roll arches, smoothen bumpers) generally clean it up and give it a nice stance. I didn't really mind if he had a few other ideas as his built some savage cars before so I left him work away on it. Il be copying and pasting most of the posts from another forum but there's a lot more pics on his Facebook page if anyone is interested, search 'teamchihuahua2012'

We wanted to do something with the bonnet but weren't sure what, was thinking of fitting a vent but wanted to keep the bulge in the middle so my friend ordered an s15 bonnet vent skin and cut it up to fit the mx5
