We wanted to fit a spoiler too but couldnt decide on one plus wanted something different so we tried out the rx8 spoiler that was in the garage, was going to need a lot of work but had potential

Had to cut it up into pieces to fit the lines of the boot and then fiberglass it back together, will also be reinforced underneath

Here's a few quick pics after paint, it badly needs the alloys to fill the arches but won't have to wait too long for them

I have it back on the road now about a week and I'm delighted with how it turned out, unfortunately it's way too low for the roads here as an everyday driver, it's catching everywhere No

I'm going to raise it up a little as soon as I can and harden up the Coilovers too, then other plans for it are darken the front lights, some light brows, fit throttle bodies and a new ecu (try and get it up to 200bhp NA), fit some nice roll bars/half cage (as well as safety these should take the high look off the rx8 seats, which look very big in the small mx5) and fit some new dials, might try and do abit of a wire tuck in the engine bay aswell when I'm fitting the throttle bodies.

I know I don't want to but I have to raise it a little, I'm going to wreck the sump/exhaust/diff (everything under the car), a rear brace hit the cats eyes overtaking a truck on the dual carriage way bringing it home, even doing 80/90 km on main roads it's bottoming out with the slightest bumps, it's undrivable and these cars are meant to be driven fast plus I've the nct on it soon, won't even get it in the door the height it is now.
