Or are you too old lol!
Haha, I need to stiffen it up alright but have to raise it up a small bit though, it's catching when I'm steering too and I've the nct aswell, don't worry I'm not going to raise it much just would like to be able to drive the thing (it's not a show car, it's my everyday car)

Got loads of photos taken today on this with juicebox, feature probably won't be done for a good few weeks though but can't wait to see the pics, a few rolling shots, lots of nice still ones and a few under a parked truck trailer

Here's some pics I took myself at the photoshoot, I've raised the car since for the nct but after the nct il lower it again, maybe not as low as here but as low as I can for everyday driving though.

Il definatly try to get to a few events alright but work most Sundays with my other job so it's hard getting time off for them, I'm going to try a drift day or drift practice day in my turbo mx5 when it's finished too I've just to get some extra lock sorted for it and a few other little bits, il get my brother to drive the white one then that day. Would love to go to japfest in England this year too with this mx5 and maybe the turbo one too if its right, always wanted to go there.

Their not as wide as they look, I dont know off my head but think the tyres are only 175s or 185s, they're Ssr dori dori meshes but they've been split and reversed, then polished and centers painted, it's different and looks like they cost a lot more then i actually paid for them, their costing me a nice bit now but still cheaper then a lot of the sweet dished wheels

Thanks, I can't take all the credit though, it was a friend of mine in limerick that did most of the work (Brendan Gordon), I have a few more ideas I want to do to it though, megasquirt ecu, throttle bodies, exhaust, wire tuck, roll bars, small sideskirts and white hardtop

Brendan has me nearly convinced to fit the rx8 engine I have into this, instead of starting a whole new project and building an mx5 from the ground up to fit the rx8 engine I might as well use this shell, it's more or less finished exterior and interior wise and just needs something special in the engine bay and a nice way to finish it off would be some big rotary power, I'm going to price the conversion soon. Could always use the 1.8 rs engine currently in it to put into the other mk1 shell I have

Il see, might just get it fitted and running first and if it ever needs a rebuild down the line I might try and get more power out of it. With a base of 231bhp it should be easy to squeeze 250bhp out of it with bits like an ecu, exhaust and stuff though. That should be more then enough in an mx5.
